Peer Review Policy

The International Journal of Social Sciences & Educational Studies (IJSSES) follows a rigorous double‑blind peer‑review process, ensuring impartiality, academic integrity, and the highest standards of scholarly quality.

Review Process

  1. Initial Screening
All submissions are reviewed by the Managing Editor to assess scope alignment, basic quality, structural compliance, and ethical integrity (including plagiarism checks).
  2. Double‑Blind Review
Manuscripts that pass initial screening are anonymized and assigned to at least two qualified reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Both reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the review.
  3. Evaluation Criteria
Reviewers assess the manuscript based on:
    • Originality and contribution to the field
    • Methodological rigor
    • Clarity, coherence, and structure
    • Ethical compliance
    • Relevance to the journal’s scope
  4. Decision Outcomes
    • Accept
    • Minor Revision
    • Major Revision
    • Reject

Revised manuscripts may undergo further review.

Conflict of Interest (COI)

Editors and reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest and recuse themselves when necessary to maintain objectivity and fairness.

 Appeals

Authors may appeal editorial decisions by submitting a written explanation to the Editor‑in‑Chief. Appeals are reviewed by an independent Editorial Board member to ensure fairness.
